Solidarity Markets

As of June 2022, we no longer run a food bank. Our solidarity markets run the first and third Monday of every month at Centre St Jax. For a full list of dates and hours, please see below.

Solidarity markets essentially operate as farmer’s markets with discounts in order to improve access to fresh, local, affordable food.

When you shop at our markets, fresh produce is available to members and the general public. Our pantry (which includes milk, eggs, bread, bulk dry goods, cans, and snacks) is reserved for members only.

Pricing options at our markets

Members: Produce, eggs, and milk will cost 20% of their retail price; dry goods are priced by weight; cans and snacks are free; bread is free depending on availability

Non-members: Produce is priced at 50% of its retail price

Pay-it-forward: If you would like to help cover the cost of groceries for another household, you can top off your shopping bill with a donation either in-person or through our donation portal.

We accept card and cash!

We currently have a waitlist for membership, but anyone is welcome to shop at our markets as a non-member anytime. If you would like be added to our waitlist for membership, or for other food assistance resources, please visit our “Membership” page.
